Boeing Company
Beyond Our Walls, Inc. & Boeing quickly became a wonderful partnership. Boeing is a corporation where dreams come true, and BOWs is a place where we plant seeds of greatness. We are so grateful for Mr. Frank Hatten and Boeing for investing in our children, and look forward to seeing how this partnership grows in the future. The DreamLearners STEM engagement partnership is an amazing blessing, and we know it will lead our students to amazing career opportunities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) later on.
Charleston Southern University
Students from Charleston Southern started coming to the BOWs Activity Center to help students learn financial literacy, reading, writing interventions, and math skills. We know this mutually beneficial relationship will benefit both Charleston Southern students while enriching the lives of our students at BOWs. We look forward to seeing the connections our students make with their mentors and the new volunteers this program brings to our center. The Links, Inc.
We are so grateful for The Charleston Chapter of the Links, Inc. Each Monday and Thursday, these fantastic, committed ladies come to teach our children reading and math skills that reinforce their schoolwork and life skills! The children at BOWs enjoy playing learning games to expand their skills. Our hearts are stirred about the possibilities this partnership brings to expand the intellectual capacity of everyone BOWs serves now and in the future.
Zeta Phi Beta - Gamma Zeta
We thank Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, INC. - Gamma Zeta Chapter for its partnership with BOWs. Most recently, they helped at our STEAM Carnival, teaching children about science and offering art enrichment activities for all attendees. We know this partner relationship will result in wonderful benefits for the children at BOWs.
Butterfly Tutoring, LLC
BOWs welcomed Butterfly Tutoring's first Art Therapy class offered to students in Summer Camp 2022. Students were encouraged to explore their emotions through different art mediums with Chief Practitioner Sarah Louise Krawcheck. The courses culminated with students and counselors painting a mural on the fences behind the BOWs Activity Center. We believe this is only the beginning of BOW's partnership with Butterfly Tutoring and hope for more offerings from this partnership.
