Today we took a trip to Downtown Charleston to learn about our heritage!!
WeBe Gullah Geechee Anointed People!! What a fantastic adventure!! Elder Carlie Towne (Founder of the Gullah Geechee Angel Network) graciously invited us to tour her Auntie’s home, sharing her legacy and the history of our Gullah Geechee Culture! Chef Rodney Gray, Coach, and her phenomenal friends spoke to the BOWs children about the importance of honoring our ancestors!
We had Chilly Bears and Chef Rodney’s Chocolate Chip Cookies!! Ms. Regina Saunders from Destiny’s Community Cafe gave us Delicious Peaches!! What a wonderful day out for BOWs!!
