Summer Camp Program 2015

BOWs is offering a FREE Summer Camp Program at our Activity Center this summer!

An exciting summer for children who were not enrolled in a fee based camp or day care. We enjoyed six (6) weeks of activities that included tutoring sessions on Khan Academy, public library reading program activities, trips to local parks, beaches, trips to neighborhood pools, ice skating, surfing, fishing lessons, soccer clinic with Coach Ashby and time spent together building wonderful relationships.

We thank all our volunteers and donors who contributed to make this a successful summer. A special thank you to a non-profit partner, Youth 2 Ocean founder, Dan Yost, and volunteers who gave our children an experience with surfing and fishing at Folly Beach.

Our students also got to enjoy days at the pool, reading and writing lessons from the Cooper River Library Summer Reading Program and a wonderful trip to the Ice Palace! We would like to thank our Community Partners for hosting fun events for the children of BOWs, and helping us to get free learning supplies for our students from our greater friends and community allies.

We are looking forward to starting a Fall/Winter Program at BOWs Meeting Place starting September 8th. We will continue to solicit the support of volunteers, donors and community partners.
